The free mobile health care service provides medical relief to the deprived segments of society around Chandigarh and Haryana. The work is being carried on in Indira Colony and Colony No. 4, Chandigarh, Rajiv Colony near Panchkula and in villages around Malah and Kedarpur.

Medical consultation, medicines including tablets, capsules, ointments, eye drops and injections are provided free of cost. Tooth extractions are also done by a dentist.

Free eye camps are conducted in collaboration with the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) and GMCH, Chandigarh in which eye patients are examined and treated free of cost. Selected cases are operated for cataract and other ailments and specks are provided freely to those having error of refraction.

Skin camps are also organized on Mobile Medical Unit, in which renowned skin specialists examine & treat skin patients.

A health education programme pertaining to Tobacco Use Prevention (TUP) has been undertaken in a slum area of Indira Colony and Manimajra, with the financial assistance from WHO provided through Ramakrishna Mission, Varanasi. Under the programme, awareness about health hazards of tobacco use is imparted to the people by showing video films, distributing pamphlets etc. Workers selected from the locality and trained in Ramakrishna Mission, Varanasi are utilized for the purpose.

The charitable homoeopathic dispensary is of great help to the people of this area. Some cases are referred to this dispensary even by reputed doctors and others come even from distant areas. It is open on every Thursday from 3 to 5 pm.
