| (N) FIRE RELIEF: |
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Chandigarh, conducted two immediate fire relief works during the year. In the first one the ashram distributed 175 kg of wheat flour (Atta), 175 kg of rice, 35 kg of Dal, 35litres of edible oil, 35 kg of salt 35 kg of sugar, 35 packets of 100 grams each of chilli powder, haldi powder and tea, 32 pants and shirts, 30 sets of saris and blouse/ salvar kurta and dupatta, and 85 sets of children clothes including one upper and one lower garment to 35 families whose huts were gutted by fire at a slum at village Saketri, Dist Panchkula, Harayana on 29th April. In the second fire relief work, on 15th May, 28 kerosene stoves were distributed to 28 families whose houses were burnt down in Colony No. 5, Chandigarh, UT.
