| (D) NATIONAL YOUTH DAY & OTHER PROGRAMMES: |
Swami Vivekananda’s birthday on 12th January as per the English calendar was celebrated as National Youth Day with programmes of speeches, recitation of Swamiji’s sayings, devotional and patriotic songs by the students of our Students’ Home.
Swami Brahmeshananda visited various schools and colleges of Chandigarh and delivered lectures that day.
Another important programme for the youth was the visit of about 18 members of the N.S.S. of the Punjab Engineering College to the Ashrama on 12th December 2007 as part of their annual camp. They had interaction with the Secretary and went round the various departments of the Ashrama. The Secretary addressed them at their camp site on 27th December 2007.
